indeed and if that happened to me I'd seek to talk to the minister of police about it. Other than talking to your local MP who would then talk to minister anyway I don't see any one else you could approach about that

  • Hard News: The sphere of influence,

I remember a story from a labour MP about her experience of Collins and Tolley on a select committee sneering and tittering away and that they were the worst members to work with..

I think her personality was always going to come out eventually.

I think we can call John Key's successor as Steven Joyce who hardly puts a foot wrong in public

I'm sure it was mcully who leaked it. I know shane dosen't have a lot of love for cunliffe but he did seem to have some tribal loyalty to labour im pretty sure he wouldn't have wanted it to be outed like this

  • Muse: Guilt By Association Copy,

I wonder if the fact the he is German and owns a copy of a book by Hitler made it news worthy to @3news. (I'm sure there is more than one politician in NZ who has a copy of that book and many other political biographies)

Isn't nice that with just a tiny scratch you can reveal New Zealand's racist side

  • Hard News: Bad Judgement,

Most universities have political clubs for every party and staff are welcome to join 'Princes St Labour' being one of the most famous and they will often use rooms at the university for party meetings.

There would be hell to pay if this didn't happen, freedom of political expression and all that

  • Hard News: Bad Judgement,

Paul Henry is an interesting case. On his first show at TV3 he told David Cunliffe he would never vote for him. Cunliffe said he thought he was supposed to be an independent journalist. Henry replied 'what gave you that idea?'

So Henry has declared his bias and not to many people has an issue with it.

So it seems to me people have an issue with Shane because he didn't wear his bias like a badge.

I't couldn't be just about using an an empty room and sending personal emails on work time could it?

  • Hard News: Growing up in public,

The person yelling ‘she is getting away’ and talking about the excitement was Guy Williams. He was doing his usual rabble rousing stuff which is funny but not when the people he is there to take the piss out of (ie the media scrum) take it seriously.

He latter apologised for his behaviour on twitter which FWIW seemed genuine
