For those interested, there's live commentary of the Women's World Cup final on Radio Sport today, which I guess is the up side of the men's team sucking so proficiently.
They've sent the women Kerry O'Keeffe. God help 'em.

When I was little I used to spend a fair bit of time in the hotels my father stayed in. That started in the seventies, but the tacky (in all senses) brown and orange carpets never changed. The definitive stuck in the seventies scungy hotel was the Hydro Grand. My partner was booked in there by his boss about a decade ago. He lasted an evening before we moved him to my mother's. Nothing had changed since 1977, possibly not even the sheets.
I'm still devastated that the current owners are trying to have it demolished.
That whole link is fascinating and kind of weird for me - there are all the places I used to drink before I left for varsity. Also right down the bottom is a poem from 1869 advocating early closing:
Of early closing, ladies, we would speak :
Your kindly aid and sympathy would seek,
That we our business premises might close
At seven each night, is what we would propose.etc.

How very kind of you, but I was thinking more in terms of how screamingly inappropriate a man-corset would be on me ...
Hmm... I think if we're going to man-corset anyone it has to be Hadyn.
Other famous hardcore emblems of masculinity are in denial, too.
OMG. I just gave a friend this. Shatner used to count lines of dialogue in scripts and throw tanties if anyone had more than he did. And then there was his infamous 'horse semen' divorce...
-
Alarmed, I then searched for corset training feature and received 99,000 pages.
Pff, and you're going to want one of those the next time you're attacked by an untrained corset.

Do fashion robots dream of electric corsets?
Ask, and etc
"The chest is aided in its healthy development, and the entire system is invigorated". I'll bet it is.

*Somewhere Emma is giggling
That's not fair, I was already giggling before I opened this tab!

Also India recovered quite nicely and are all out for 207 in the 50th. I say you add a run to the required run rate in Women's to get an idea of what the total is like, which makes that 'challenging but well gettable'. IMO.

Am I the only one slightly surprised that this line wasn't in a thread from one of Emma's posts?
If we must have some recurrent theme that metastases throughout PAS, I'd much rather it was Carry On sexual puns than copyright/wrong.
It's things like these that make me pretty sure Russell is an evil genius, sitting out on the deck of his secret lair stroking Colin and laughing maniacally. Because when people said 'we need more women writing for Public Address' I'm pretty sure the reasoning wasn't 'because otherwise we'll run out of smut'.

Indeed, she did seem to restrain herself. I'm sure there were alternative title, but she was bound to use something seemly.
I am indeed really impressively restrained. Discretion can be delicious. But not as much fun as a triple-decker pun.
