I feel the need to correct myself. I have it on good authorataa that horses are not used in the sport of polo. The fact is that they use ponies and these are, apparently, given away for free in any decent society. You can tell a decent society by its number of polo grounds as polo is only played by decent people like princess and kings an stuff. Water polo, on the other hand, is played by people with balls in the water and polo shirts. I have no idea about the decency of the players society but I suspect they are no better than other wearers of polo shirts. -
Personally I find the ideas of the ACT party to be 4.26986711

Hide will come to a sticky end I tell you. All this Huffing and Puffing will blow the house down if you ask me. Never the less, Hide is, at least, sticking to Organics I am pleased to say, we wouldn't want him huffing away on sodium silicates now would we? What with their heat resistance and low toxicity. Better to stick with an organic like a good trimethyl asniocyanate with maybe a dash of chloroethyline for that added kick.
And what of the dangers of glue ear I hear you say... WHAT? I SAID GLUE EAR... never mind.
As for those Pie figures. I thought they were talking in the region of 4.774648293 pies per purchase.
So, I guess it won't be long before we see our Rodders back on the telly dancing with Ethyl, Methyl and the Keytones.

I'd suggest that we were entitled to a turn at hosting the cup every so often *without* having to build new stadiums, remove civil rights from our population, etc.
It would be perfectly possible to have had the cup with the old 47,000 capacity Eden Park. They just wouldn't have sold as many tickets. As I pointed out on the previous page the IRB have "a policy of utilising existing stadiums," so the whole idea of a new stadium went against policy.
As for the number of ticket sold this pales into insignificance compared to the claimed TV audience but where there is money to be made there is no stopping some people, eh?. -
would it all be "blues"-based?
Good on ya Liz, I knew you would see that.
Woke up this morning,
Was still stuck in the lift.
Life has its ups and downs. -
Good post Gordon (trust me to come in with a flippant post just as you unleash your well thought out one)
I am of the view that Education is best designed by educators rather than idealistic political zealots.
The term/title "'Step Change: Success the Only Option' " is fundamentally flawed in that "Success" is so subjective as to have any meaning. What is this success? is it happy families or rich controlling individuals?. Doing things for the "greater good", I would contend, is never attempted by such individuals, it's just too "Socialist" for their liking. The attitude is always "I want to keep what is "Mine" and fuck the rest of you".
