  • Hard News: The Death of Evidence,

Prime Minister John Key has defended the Government categorically ruling out relaxing drug laws, saying doing anything else would send the wrong message to children.

    Stuff
Won't someone think of the rest of the country for a change?.
Why the fuck are we being pushed around by children all the time?.
FFS ShonKey. How many fuckin' children read National policy statements? When are you going to grow some balls and stop being dictated to by Family Fist or the Mongrel Mob. Mr Key, you are an embarrassment to this country.

Mr Key told Radio Live today that reform was not the agenda.

"No one is probably arguing necessarily that if someone uses a small amount of marijuana that that is necessarily of itself the end of the world," Mr Key said

"But, and I have to acknowledge because its factually correct that a lot of New Zealanders do, but what's the message we want to send youngsters? And the message is don't engage with drugs."

Marijuana was often a stepping stone to more aggressive drugs such as P or cocaine, he said.

Mr Key said young people should get involved in sports, culture or drama and not dabble in drugs.

    Sigh, what a Plonker.

Auckland's not going to benefit from a do-up of Eden Park, why should ratepayers' money be spent on it? It wasn't Auckland that bid for the RWC, after all.

Trouble is that this very attitude cost us the V8's to name but one thing "We" didn't want to pay for. No wonder the rest of the Country think Aucklanders are tossers. We may be paying the Lions share, possibly a bad metaphor there, but we will get the thick end of the spinnoff while the rest of the country gets diddly squat.
Well, apart from most of the games I guess.
Now, what did we need a stadium for?.

It was the politicians who handed the Viaduct to the rich.

The problem with Auckland is that the politicians are the Rich.

You are not the only person who is thinking this way.

Mr Swney said 78.9 per cent of respondents to the campaign did not want the World Cup to influence hasty redevelopment of the wharf and 85.5 per cent wanted the Super City council and mayor to lead the wharf development in the context of the waterfront plan.

Perhaps if we tried to use thoughts to encourage us to have more positive feelings we would achieve more. But that's just how I feel. That's from one of the people who is proud to say I don't know anything.

Oh dear, talk about "pride in ignorance"
Alexander Pope said "A little learning is a dangerous thing; drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring: there shallow draughts intoxicate the brain, and drinking largely sobers us again."
Still, with a name like Hill Cone we should expect a little Volcanic spluttering. It would seem Ms. Cone may have passed over the "Pierian Spring" in favour of a little stronger beverage. The closest she comes to understanding Economics is being economic with rational thought, to compare economic theory with medical knowledge is sheer fantasy.

the open display of *considerable* cruelty to animals in a huge number of on-screen programmes?

It's worse than that. Every day and every night we are subjected to World War 2 on National Geographic, The History Channel and others.
Won't somebody think of the Hebrews?.

You'll have to listen for a minute or so to "get it"

Now I know what they mean when they suggest the use of the "Parental Lockout System"

  • Hard News: The Death of Evidence,

Mr Key said he only knew of Mr Soros for his deeds as a currency speculator, rather than for his views on "weed".

    And there you have it.
This is why John Key is siding with the Gangs on this. All the while the Gangs have a hold on the drugs market there will be a hedge against speculative money trading, it was, apparently, money from Drugs and Organised Crime that saved the world economy from a total meltdown.
I can't think of any other reason for John Key and the National Party to be protecting the profitability of the Hells Angels, the Mongrel Mob and countless smaller Gangs unless, of course, Drug legislation is a backstop to control the masses of otherwise law abiding people.

About three weeks back John Key was signaling he was going to ignore the commissions report because he had already made up his Governments mind and he knew best, just listen to the Gang leader.

The Gangs will be delighted by Nationals stance on this and laughing all the way to the bank.
Yeah. A vote for National and the Smiling Assassin is a vote for the Gangs.
