I have noticed that the prolixity of the response is inversely proportional to the amount of information.

Every little bit helps :-)

And?

I only watched half of it, sorry. Coleman was pissing me off enough - it's one thing to front but to have nothing to say when you do is futile. But when you put his vacuousness in the same room as Edwards' ego - too much for me, I'm afraid.
I'm trying to find a way to sleep through to 2011...

Yes, it is back. I think it was a system malfunction at their ISP although why that would take out a miror site, I can't think.
<geek>I get 18 hops through to 88.80.5.3 (ge0.tr0.sth3.prqinet.net) which is 1 hop inside their ISP's network. There's a disconnect between that and 88.80.13.160 (which now carries a DNS name of mail.wikileaks.org so maybe they had to do a quick reconfigure last night) but that could be part of the security around Wikileaks.</geek>
I'm sure it will all be explained on Slashdot, with the accompanying sound of black helicopters ;-)

Hmmm. I'm wondering if someone is running a pretty solid attack on Wikileaks, actually. It's not just their DNS that's not working, but also the IP address is returning a blank page (though it is showing the favicon), the cover URLs are also timing out and the german and Belgian mirrors are off-line, and the Swiss one has one of those generic "this domain could be yours" pages.
Eyes will watch...

That's the one!!!
Awful lip-syncing, why did they bother? But Riddell looks like he's having fun ;-)
I think the song stands up pretty well."It's so hard to be brave
when all the breaks are against you..." -
Riddell is still making music.
Yeah, I think he did a show in the sound shell in Welly's Botanic Gardens a couple of years ago, during Summer City.
-
Whatever it is, it's not the Australians. I'm getting a traceroute as far as prqinet.net in Sweden which is their ISP, so it's something within that system that's broken.

Presention, definitely, but the music was cool too - I bought the album eventually. As a pre-MTV thing, it was like nothing I'd seen on the NZBC, let alone produced by them as well.
Of course, those were the days when a bra-less presenter was front page news...
