Hurrumph. Isn't that what John Key promised us for 2009 with his new fangled government? Better? Humbug. 2009 will go down in my history book as one of the worst years in memory.
Apart from PAS of course, which remained a high point throughout.

" I blame anthropomorphic children's stories"
Meanwhile Tigger was lying in wait for piglet. -
My faves for this year was that tune by what's his name, you know, the one that goes "bin diddy bing bing doo wop wop" or something (not very good at remembering stuff)
But I can recommend this, not a tune but a BBC Radio 4 comedy show.

Anybody know what the schedule is for the bill?
1.00 am, Monday 21st December, Muttering behind bike sheds behind Beehive, passing of wads of used twenties in brown paper envelopes.
1.15 am Sneak into Debating Chamber, pass bill under extreme urgency.
1.20 am. Borrow Bollards Ute and drive to Auckland to load up on "Assets"
10.30 am. Start on the piss.
11.30 pm. Dance under OUR stars. -

Nice to see Pirating and general Downloading is driving the industry to take the next step in "Value Added" media releases. Up until this point the only advantage the Big Screen had over downloaded content was that it was... erm... bigger.
