nz is still a free country and i don't see the point why i should not participate in the discussion.
The fact you could register for it does not make it a public forum. You either live by the rules of the community or will be asked by a moderator to stop posting - and you "started" by belittling everybody else, in typical fashion. That said, my tolerance of trolls being what it is, I bid you goodnight.

Not remotely interested in whatever point you are failing to express, sorry.
-
you should be reminded that this is a public discussion
It really is not. Glad to see you've resorted to sockpuppets now - double the fun. Or not.

Oh, thank you for reminding me of "I am proud of this City that I have helped create." Helen Ritchie, bigger than Jesus.

It's another book launch -- but, of course, you don't have to buy a book.
You have to buy two books.
Badoom, tisch.

Aren't you a charmer.

That was counting the number of responses and the number of views here. Usually works out at 20 to 40 depending on the topic and other random factors. I think it was Tim who reminded me last night that they're probably page views rather than unique people (doh), so ratio is probably slightly smaller.
A lot more than slightly, I would think. I read a whole lot of pages where I don't comment, and I load a lot more pages than the ones I contribute to. It would apply to most regular commenters, I imagine.

For all the talk of terraforming and living off planet, realistically that wont happen without a radical new form of energy that by its existence will eliminate the need to terraform and colonise extra terrestrially anyway.
If we were somehow able to terraform other planets, surely we'd also be able to re-terraform the one we already inhabit.

I'm glad. There was a point there when I thought, "well, this is a cool party, isn't it?"
But not nearly as cool as the one in Wellington, right? RIGHT?

Ah, but the problem there is that even if you taxed junk food, it would be very hard to put the money into subsidising the purchase of fresh foods, unless you decided to *gasp* reintroduce agricultural subsidies.
