Sounds just like an episode of Eleventh Hour I happened across the other week - Wikipedia entry

You've got to respect that.
I certainly do - I think the relative quantities make TV look like a whining narcissist.

So, apparently, his "suffering" continues... and I'm sick of hearing about it. Incredible, the amount of airtime the perpetrator has had, vs the victim.

Every week the shallowness seems to plumb new depths...

Wonderful post thank you. And the photos of the "home" have caused me to remark for the first time ever, "Oh my sainted aunt".

While I can relate to the charm of having your own private Little Blue Buddy, those rather malevolent beady eyes give the impression that they'd bite like hell.

And now, imagine that the cyst is a baby... This is a very weird thing when one is having a caesarean. Not exactly pain (other than a dull sort of ache) but odd vigorous tugging and being shoved around sensations, followed by "waaah!". Never to be forgotten.

I really liked this comment from Salon's Alex Koppelman (he's discussing Mitt Romney's presence nearby to the Democrat convention):
"John McCain earned his homes through the hard work, insight and fortitude of his family and himself, and Barack Obama got a special deal from a convicted felon," Romney continued, trying to steer the conversation away from economic disparities and toward the friendlier topic (to him, at least) of Tony Rezko. Exactly what insight of McCain's helped earn all those properties was unclear, unless it was his ability to recognize a powerful, wealthy Arizona family
