Is it possible to buy a signed copy from any Wellington book stores?

  • Hard News: The Press, Privacy and The Paps,

I am more worried by these irregular Unions. Could we get a spokesperson in from the CTU to brief us?

  • Hard News: Fun like the old days,

I would have thought by now that some bright soul would have passed a law with some sort of widely defined "unlawful access of a computer system" test that would catch almost anything. Of course I would be glad to be wrong on that one.

For some reason this discussion reminds me of Hard Times by Dickens

  • Cracker: Go Figure,

I'll do a casual survey of flag face paint at the Waitangi Day drinks in Kings Cross tonight and update you all on see where popular opinion is trending amongst drunken expats

  • Cracker: Go Figure,

I'm not sure if this is a common feeling or not, but I couldn't care less that our flag can be confused with the Australian flag and if that is one of the main reasons stated for changing it then I shall remain unconvinced by the case for change.

It just seems a pretty petty concern, unless someone can provide some sort of damming evidence that mad warmongers or terrorist bombers only select targets based on the basis of a crude analysis of flags.

  • Speaker: The Architecture of Elsewhere,

Speaking of the Supreme Court building, does anyone have any links to high quality photos of the completed building?

I've had a look about and have only found a couple of very small images here and there - most of the results from searching seem to be either Prince William or the architect's illustrations.

I had to book in October to get tickets to see Avatar at the Imax in London. Now that I want to see it again it seems I won't be able to get seats till the end of the month.

I have heard that the 3D experience is still pretty good at non Imax cinemas though

  • Speaker: North versus South, Part 1,

Islander, indeed and because the population is so stable (or suffering long term decline?) anyone new is immediately apparent no matter what they do or say.

I go back pretty regularly but I'm not sure if I moved back whether or not I'd be given local treatment or otherwise, despite my family being in the district since the 1860s (or was it the late 1850s?) as I've been away in Dunedin/up North and now London for a decade or so.
