ok we are all intelligent and lovely here so i hope we can stay this way during a discussion around which is is for some a deeply personal issue.
there is a difference between feeling depressed and experiencing full blown depression
for those of you who have not experienced depression, (and by that i do not mean a bad day/week/month) can you maybe show a little compassion for those of us who constantly feel stigmatised by society for not being normal.
and onwardyes there are instances of over medication, or medication when someone is experiencing situation depression and not a clinical form of depression.
some of that is becuase the patient cannot afford to take time out from their job/life or cannot afford therapy, so doctors do what they can.

taking Prozac, for example, for years is something I find deeply unattractive.
yes because so many of us WANT to have drugs in our life for years, we love that every day/night/both we have to take X Xpills.
yes it's so fun.here's the things for people with mental health issues, drugs do not make you happy.
for some people the right medication simply ensures that they don't live down in the dark places. They have highs, they have lows, they have normal moods.
For some people drugs mellow them out they don't don't get too hyper or too black.
yes there are misdiagnosed people, yes some GPS over prescribe. but , better a few extra prescriptions than a few extra deaths eh.

you do kind of have to love that it takes you blogging here, and the actual owner of the hotel to resolve the issue.
rather than say staff acting on the complaints of their customers.
