Tried a coffee at Morrisons in Erith. Bad advice from ignorant family, thaat is ignorant as in being British and having no real experience of such things,
Not only was it crap I was told that the machine was not working and it wastoo much trouble to sort it out and would I prefer tea.
    Smart marketing, what?,

Of course you could make the point that perhaps our online selves are who really are, and we're just too shy to be complete arseholes face to face.

I once had a hardarse Essex bloke say to me that nobody called him an asshole, I replied "that's because you're a cunt"
We have been good mates ever since, in fact he calls me Dad.

I'm just over in the UK and within moments of arriving I found myself disgusted by the new ingrained racism (since the July 7th bombings that, curiously, occured the last time I were here) and with it comes the same pro male pro right wing bollocks I hoped were things of the past. AND... to add to that I have yet to find anything approaching decent coffee. So Iwwill go back into the achives of PAS, the arbiter of all things good, and smell the coffee.
Talk to me guys, it's sad and lonlely here and I am surrounded by the sick and dying.
    :-(

  • Hard News: Detritus,

Too many coincidences here for my liking.
We are off to The UK this week, family matters you know, will post from there.
Anypoo, has anybody come across this guy before? I just found this random video on Google Earth, in Balmoral road to be precise.

And Steve Barnes, its Association of CONSUMERS and Taxpayers". Plenty of beneficiaries don't wish to be taxpayers either do they and you don't crank on about them?"

Technically beneficiaries do pay taxes and not just GST. As to whether beneficiaries "wish" to be taxpayers or not is pure speculation and a vast generalisation at the same time.
I would imagine many beneficiaries would rather have a well paying job. But hey. Kate, like the Cactus she models herself on, is just bitter and prickly.

    Well Brent, it goes on to say;

Mrs Pollock - who is fit for her age - said she wanted to keep caring for the land herself.

She was worried that her project would be undone by managers who did not understand the glade's history.

She had suffered health problems after an operation on her leg this year but was almost back to full health, she said.

Which in my mind says she wanted to continue and the Navy forced her hand. The attitude of the Council was appalling. Who is the interfering old codger in this story?. It's the Council.
And trust me, I do not take the Heralds Headlines as any indication of the story, far from it.

  • OnPoint: Gotcha?,

Why would one choose a Belize IBC? Aside from not having to pay any taxes in Belize

I amazes me (not really) that
these ACT people seem to want to be neither Citizens nor Taxpayers.

Where is Larry's head really at?

I know, I know and it explains what he has for brains.
If I were one of his kids I wouldn't let him near my children.

  • Hard News: The son that got away,

there was an audible gasp in the room when he told me he smacked his grandchildren.

    Isn't that assault?
I mean, that is "a smack as part of grand parental correction" nobody was saying that shouldn't be a criminal offence, In fact 88% of respondents didn't say that. So lock the bugger up I say.

Dude, you're not getting all Randi Krishna on us, are you?

    No.
Did you read the story? I just seemed like so many kinds of totally stupid fuckedupness.
