-

-
OK fullas, this all really interesting and stuff, but hands up who's off to the AK79 gig.

can I just intimate again that that Rachel Maddow is a classy lady.
still an appalling lack on the hologram front but they seem quicker than most on the prediction finger.
-
nope, not so much holograms, but they have these spooky CGI romanesque wotsits wot they put all the numbers in.
sadly, way too much chat and such I guess, not enough pridy colours.
-
wot, no-one watching rachel and keith on msnbc?
they're streaming live and everything and stuff.
-
it's all Dick Emery to me...they're just re-raising the Titanic.
Far too much English telly humour now revolves around fag jokes and humiliation, it's beyond tedious.
Simply taking these elements to more extreme levels is not creativity or boundary pushing, it's a pissing competition.

yeah Iron Council and The Scar both - I think he may be a bit style over content over the long haul.
and yeah again, mentioning the Historian only gets me blank looks.
not sure about the Wilberforces remake. Just let it be, no good can come of it. And we don't need to encourage the return of public dribbling. It wasn't pretty.

damn, got to this way too late - bloody US election blogs - anyway, seeing as Craig was big upping Peter F Hamilton can I come back at you with the literary sensorium that is China Mieville's Perdido Street Station. Ripping yarn and no mistake.
And on the vampire front, I'm rather enjoying Elizabeth Kostova's The Historian.
On the don't go there front, I can't handle James Ellroy, it's like being machine gunned over 400 pages.

Grant, matey...maybe it was only the truckloads of Rumous albums that reached you, but I couldn't list the gold I've dug out of the bins up here. I still get misty remembering the moment I flicked over a single to find ? and the Mysterians' 96 Tears on the original label. Yes, the specialty bins have been flagging for some time - Conch beats them everywhere - but for offbeat 2nd hand stuff, only Wax Factory in Brighton beats them for mine.
Maybe the exchange deal was a total cockup, but I would never slag them for what it delievered.anyway, what you up to this days young man?
