Good summary of the Test here.

...while Stu's Nerdherder went with vege pizza nicely (quietly I think it would've been perfect with Hawaiian pizza because it needed a tiny bit of salt that the ham would've provided)
Obviously they didn't put enough (any ?) olives on it.

An interesting article in a recent New Scientist magazine used brain scans to show that when you were thinking about God's view of certain issues the same areas of brain were used as when you were thinking about your own views. However, if you thought about the views of someone else different areas of the brain were used.
Well, I found it interesting ...

What I find interesting is that the examples that Act gives date from 1986 to 2001. This implies that with the tightening up of parole, there have not been more recent cases, so the 3 strikes law is not actually required (it seems to date from the '80's - much like the rest of Act's policies).

That immediately suggests one way in which the rape of men and the rape of women may differ significantly, and failing to understand the difference could be problematic.
Air New Zealand appears to think that they are different, but not in a good way. They think that a man saying "No" to sexual advances and being ignored is humourous.
Grabaseat spokesman Sunil Unka said complaints had been laid about the promotion, but it would continue.
"It (sexual violence) certainly is a fairly major issue but this was meant to be light-hearted and not meant to be taken too literally, so we will not be pulling it."

Some of Miriam Saphira's art includes female genitalia (eg Take her fancy), but her art is not particularly realistic.

I don't really care about Tiger Woods, golf, or celebrities. This however fascinates me. Investors believe that these companies will suffer a huge customer backlash, so that their sales suffer to such an extent that they are worth $12billion less ? Weird.

Looking at the little, scrunched-up face in the car-seat as I carried it up the steps to our house after his release from SCBU, this huge, overwhelming feeling welling up inside me, as I finally comprehended that I was responsible for the care and well-being of this bundle of cells, that was simultaneously both part of me, and most definitely not part of me.
12 years on, and that feeling has not abated ...
