On topic, I doubt that Jed and the ARC would be able to commentate the Olympics with full legality.
After numerous takedowns we were able to upload this long after the actual games.

Copyright is a funny thing.
Oh FFS. It's not like you're a newbie around here.
My secret shame is that I didn't read that thread

SKY did a good job of running round YouTube last Sunday tearing down all the Tua-Cameron clips.
That was a mainly the fight promoters, but yeah not surprising.

I'd definitely do the same for watching the All Blacks on Sky and hearing Jed's commentary if someone could make it happen.
It is broadcast through their website, but as Jimmy points out there is an annoying lag. We tried to run the game through a PVR with a 3sec delay to match it up, but it never seemed to work.
I had this crazy hope that with the multiple channels Sky had to devote to showing ABs games, that they might just offer the ARC some kinda dealio to do their thing.
There is also the options to have multiple audio tracks on the one channel (so some shows have a track for Maori occasionally) so the alt commentary could've been on that.
It's just so annoying to see something so creative being stymied for (seemingly) narrow-minded reasons

That's a funny article about Seagal.
Deadspin interviewed a MMA reporter who had a great story about Seagal getting his nuts handed to him by a 60yr old master of some martial art. Seagal was pissed off, claimed cheating, demanded rematch, was beaten again (and in one version of the story lost control of his bowels)

Followed closely by the Nimoy "Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" (no time to go hunting for it on YouTube - one of you lovely people will doubtless have it bookmarked...)
No...shut up!

Thanks for all the entries, the tickets were won by Emily.

Mental note: do not piss off Ben

I need Sam reffing so I can get back to bouting.
I miss my mouthguard...
Just occasionally drift on to the track and hit someone. Then call them for the foul.

To tie this into another recent discussion: OF gets higher ratings than rugby. Admittedly being free-to-air helps.
Are there numbers somewhere for this? Because I'm slightly surprised. Single sports events tend to do very well. Usually in prime time, usually on a weekend etc. So is that on average, or against all games or what?
