They need at least one big, big reason to stick with the deal
What, bigger than a ministerial car?

Dear New Zealand voter,
It has come to my notice that your performance in electing a sensible and democratic government has been sorely lacking. Before the election, it was obvious to any thinking person that should National/ACT be elected, they would abandon democratic, evidence-based government in favour of knee-jerk policies rammed through without proper thought or scrutiny. It's no surprise that this is now happening.
Could I suggest that you refrain from voting until you are able to treat politics as more than a rugby game.
Yours etc..

As a citizen-shareholder, I'm sure you'd be pleased about every possible penny being "reallocated" to infrastructure and staff recruitment and training.
Maybe the extra staff recruitment and training will be needed to replace all the staff that leave for somewhere less austere.

Hanover was a respected company before Hotchin and Watson took over
Top tip. When a financial institution copies the name of a (former) much larger, established bank, they're up to dodginess.

MPs can be dismissed from their party at any stage and may be constructively fired at 3 year intervals by demotion on their party list.
Whereupon they form their own micro-party, convince the voters of Stupidville to keep electing them despite their having left the Nats/Labour, get a nice job as Minister-outside-Cabinet and allow their ignorant pomposity to reach whole new levels.

But have you seen the Auckland Women's Health Council's paper on The Funding Of 12 Months Treatment With Herceptin For Her2 Positive Early Breast Cancer?

On boats, surely it's a question of disclosure. If the shareholders/depositors in a company invest in the knowledge that the directors are buying ponies, yachts and private jets, then that's their lookout.
If the purchases are disguised, then it's either illegal or should be so.

an all leave, on a random Tuesday.
When you next take a holiday or work trip overseas, check the box for "leaving permanently". This will boost the net migration and make the Nats look bad.
How much effect this has depends if they reconcile arrival and departure forms. I bet they don't.

The TVNZ site is nice in terms of news values, but I don't like the whole concept of the continually changing headline. It looks nice and goes with the "telly" concept (I suppose) but I'd rather get a simple list and work from there.
Maybe this will make me start using an RSS feed reader. Suggestions?

It's opposition's job to oppose. If that means countering urgency with a filibuster, then that's how it has to happen.
I don't have any time for the idea that opposition should be all fluffy in order not to be seen as haters and wreckers.
