I'm stunned TVNZ has Torchwood. It's got rude bits! I'll be even more stunned if they don't play it at eleven at night and stop abruptly halfway through the series. We only started torrenting television after they did that to series three of The West Wing.
I was staunchly behind Prime's viewing schedule, right up until they stopped play series 2 of Stargate Atlantis halfway through the series...

Heh, you can go back to calling me Ghet if it makes us both more comfortable... And yeah, it was subtly done and I think it worked, but then I'm a big fangrrl so I would.
And Reece? Yeah. My 'it could be worse, we could be English' mantra is starting to wear thin.

Summer finally got here. Yesterday the asphalt burned my feet, the raspberry canes scratched my leathery '80 year old Australian cattle drover' forearms all to shit, and not one of the boys who stalled their SUV at the traffic lights by Countdown was wearing a shirt, bless 'em.
Then we sat down and watch the Dr Who Christmas special. Span, if you're out there, they appear to be working on getting that Ecclestone hard edge on Tenant.
NOW we're having a summer holiday. Pity my partner's back at work.

Until you shove your hand through your ceiling fan playing Wii Sports Bowling and have to go to hospital straight after you finish the frame...

I have an article deadline on the 7th of January. I shall fret about that, referee my children, and some time probably about Boxing Day, get into a huge argument with my brother when he refers to my kids' schoolmates as coconuts and towelheads.
Three days earlier my family will celebrate Midsummer.

Speaker: Funny, sexy and ours
Is JC describing himself there too?
You know, I was going to say that like most of the liberal thirty-something chicks I know, 'correcting his grammar' doesn't make it onto my 'list of things to do to John Campbell', but I'm scared he might be reading and I'd look desperate and stalkerish, not cool and urbane like I was hoping.
So I didn't say it.

The former I can understand, the latter some might consider a bit harsh.
I'd have dumped him for using the phrase "dance good".
(That was tongue in cheek, BTW. Where's the Sarcasm Font when you need it?)

He was born in Scotland so, close enough, eh?
Would be sort of like saying New Zealand is practically Australia, if we had actually lost a war to them. It's still technically legal to shoot Scottish people in York, provided you use a bow and arrow.
Cheers for the links. I'd very much enjoyed Jonathan Ross on QI recently - now there's an utterly brilliant show that the Beeb is just getting around to releasing on DVD after four years. Best thing on my computer all year.

That's the beast, I/S, thanks. I'm somehow inordinately pleased that that sexy beast is an arts complex and not a stadium.

Actually, while we're on the subject, I'm betting one of you can tell me, what's that building you keep seeing from the air in Torchwood that looks like a big trilobite?
I do wonder what they're doing for Welsh sex tourism...
