  • Hard News: A solution in search of…,

Russell, this is clearly a "more labour/less logic" statement -" I wanted the stadium built in the waterfront. "

The waterfront is generally accepted as a great aspect for viewing along with experiencing, walking, swimming etc.

A stadium is inward looking and so totally at opposites (and hopefully at opposed sites) to the waterfront.

If this is incorrect please state where in the world a waterfront stadium works as public space on the waterfront.
(I have my shotgun ready - please supply the barrel of fish).

Regarding Tank Farm, have you seen the newer, & bigger proposal?

Sofie, alot of the problem was no double glazing and sound proofing of inner city apartments. Now substandard, but just inside at the time of building.

Party Centra would make all the profit while the rest of the city has to pay for it.
A public space (quarentine area) would be cool, but if the city is to profit from the RWC it should go to the existing businesses or we'll have that boom & bust cycle, just quicker.

And please Sideshow Bob, keep the street names the same and not change them for a one off event. He is seriously talking of changing street names for theRWC. We didn't do this when in fear of Japanese invasion, a tactic used to slow down invading troops.

True Bart, but massively different levels of risk between the two drugs.

Bart it's the mental health stats that'll be the added joy.
A photo of my uncle at the Sallys Mens Hostel will do.

That said, what a totally logical approach by the law comm.

  • Up Front: Do My Homework For Me,

What creeped me out on Cops tonight was the guy terrified and in tears being sent back to prison.
His pain was palpable and he looked like a statistic in the making.

But making money off innocent (presumption of such until proven) peoples misery and calling it entertainment turned my stomach tonight.

I normally like it (guilty sercret) and couldn't stop laughing at the cops. A few weeks back when the cop chased the Toyota Hilux X-country and then turtled his car and it then caught fire was hilarious, but tonight was human misery tonight.

  • Hard News: The Death of Evidence,

Dude, Mayor (Sideshow) Bob is aiming to make it a crime to drive slowly here in Christchurch.

Christchurch Transport engineers used 1950 concepts in the 1970s. We have race tracks & no traffic, but the relative success of the Traffic Cops and the sober driving of boy racers, means in order to criminalise youth, they must ban slow driving.

Sideshow went on a rant on RNZ, but all of what he stated is currently illegal, and would end in charges & fines.

He really does need to get some runs on the board. He's scoring like my first time at in-door-cricket (negitive points are possible).

As for this News about dope, it is a well documented path that prior too, or as part of the contract, private prisons are used to house the poor. They only take the prisoners who are no danger to society.
