My friend had a Rambler, this was mine, Alpha GT1300 Junior, 150bhp. We used to swap cars depending on the occasion.

My trusty Toyota Corolla SW, manual, took me here to the end of the line, Bluecliffs, next stop Stewart Island, so I could surf it. Also took me to strange offroad spots on the SI West Coast, where locals would wonder how the hell it ever got me to there. Lived in it for a while.

Of course i had one, called it Animal, because it ate money, but it did take me to Curio Bay, woke in the morning with dolphins yin yang flipping as I watched from the open sidedoor.
