There are some humans who don't smile much with their mouths but whose eyes crinkle up instead. "Eye-smiles" are supposed to be impossible to fake, unlike toothy grins. After many years around various cats I'm quite inclined to squint my eyes at people I like, which may or may not be correctly interpreted. |-)
Either happy or plotting your downfall. Not that there's much difference from a feline viewpoint.

we're thinking of getting a cat-door. but won't pay to have it put in, because the munter likely won't be able to work it. so far he's proof that being part-siamese does not guarantee smarts.
Speaking as a cat person, they can be taught! And boy, are they pleased with themselves once they get the hang of it. :-)

Joanna, according to the photo caption his collar says he's not the missing cat, which causes an interesting paradox if he disappears. Perhaps his collar remains, like the Cheshire Cat's smile?

Vets often have the idea that keeping an injured cat inside is a) possible and b) less stressful for the cat. My experience is that cats like to be free, and my cat gets super-stressed and panickey if shut in.
And Dejected Tail is a well-known post-traumatic psychosomatic injury ;-)

This is a very good question. It might bark like a dog. But I struggle to imagine Lou and Laurie doing anything that wasn't the cat's whiskers! Surely music for the avant guard dog. ;-)

Samuel: I guess Lady Gaga and Banksy both work within "low art" genres, however much they do or don't subvert the form. But isn't it good to have an excuse to feel superior to the madly rich and unbelievably famous people. :-)

Regarding Lady Gaga, and the irony quotient of her name, does anyone remember Man's single 2oz of Plastic With A Hole in the Middle? Or Bauhaus's album Press Eject And Give Me The Tape?
I like artists who don't take themselves too seriously.
