Well, I was one of the lucky ones at ANZAC Cove this year. Here are some of my reflections:
So sorry you had to spend any of that time with Slater, John.

The Belgians actually had two world wars in their country (without provoking them in any way). They’re still digging up mustard gas. Aren’t they entitled to sell a few chocolates?
It's the "official" endorsement from the RSA that I find most anger-making.

I’d like to make a press council complaint about Glucina’s alleged deceit. Anyone know if someone else is doing this already?
I've seen a couple of comments on Facebook and Twitter from people who say they have, but I coan't remember who, sorry.
There’s an attempt to muddy the waters with talk of ‘a pool story’.
Is this a real thing (apart from in extreme circumstances)? Is it common at the Herald that they’d share their copy? Has Glucina ever written a ‘pool story’ before?Pool stories tend to happen when you've got really limited access, such as aboard Air Force One, or embedded in Iraq. You might get one also around a court case of particular note (unless it's about a Prominent New Zealander, of course). I doubt that Glucina has ever shared her lunch, let alone a story.
My understanding is that she went in posing as PR to help the employers and the victim manage the media fallout and help them craft a statement to be released. Once she had the photo and the interview, it turned into an article.

An Aussie lad-mag hijacks Anzac for a bikini cover.

One of the commercialisations that really got my goat was this one. And to top it off, they’re made in bloody Belgium.
[edit] Oh, yes, the man on the cover is wearing an American uniform as well.
