Actually, the "no exploding cars" sign means "no carrying flammable/explosive materials". I think. Pretty sure it'd apply to the buses and trolley buses plying that route, too.

This little fella had a couple of my students freaked out this afternoon. I encouraged it onto the floor where it kinda uncamouflaged* itself.
*ETA: By which I mean this little critter that is even more pallid than me went and hid on that black thing. Not very effective camouflage.

I'm not sure about your comments on manufacturing standards, though. In China, at least, the problem is often more one of enforcement/corruption than regulations or standards. As for the cultural side of things, it is unfortunate that a common herbal component of traditional Chinese medicine can be used to make methamphetimine. Chinese people getting visas to NZ are given a little pamphlet explaining that many Chinese cold medicines can't be taken to NZ for that reason.

Would a tripod help? Or just steadier hands? Better breathing, or at least a gentler squeeze with the trigger finger? Because I seem to keep missing the targets. And insects move so much faster and further than flowers.
