Hard News: Villainy and engagement, in reply to
While the wretched thing was rejected, I gather that they took the trouble to check out the legal implications before doing so.
Isn't that the basis for Celebrity Rehab that they do in the US (without the voting off)? I wouldn't know as I don't watch any "reality TV" but it seems that way from the trailers.

Heh. This is pretty amazing. The original is 'Prisencolinensinainciusol' by Adriano Celentano and Claudia Mori:
Shot for shot amazing. Like Rich, I've never heard of the besuited one and his Cleopatra look-alike wife, but even allowing for the formula (I'll take your word for it - I never watch these shows) this was bullying beyond the pale. I'm one of the "few" who sent a complaint into TV3 after someone referred me to it on YouTube.

For anyone else who might be tempted, as I was, to read no further, I will say that that’s the only specifically religious reference in there, so if you find general discussion of dead philosophers interesting, read further without fear.

That’s a really strange speech by Fletcher. I can’t really see the point of it, but then I don’t really know who the audience is – it appears to be corporate heads. Which explains why it’s corporate philopsychobabble for the most part.
Fletcher is a corporate man - it's all he knows.

By the bye, Bradley Ambrose is taking John Key to trial for defamation, Feb 2016. From memory, Key didn't say those things in Parliament so no protection of privilege there.

The NZDF supported the amendment and said it strikes a balance "between independent investigation and ensuring judicial scrutiny did not encroach into "matters of the state".
Unfuckingbelievable. Like they've never heard of the 3 branches of government.

I didn’t read the latter in the same light. It talked about self fulfilling prophesies, poor reasoning and a narrative that puts “the West” at war with Islam…not shutting up in case you upset people.
My reading was much the same.
