That's a very strange thing Kerry. In my mind group and creative are concepts that are mutually exclusive.

From a strictly weighing the facts point of view, I think humans wiping out ourselves is more likely. That wouldn't always be the case, but if it happens now it would most likely to be us doing it. Viruses, plagues, asteroids etc. work on their own timescale. Human development is the thing that is most changing now.
There is the possibility of a collaboration (bird-flu + modern transport) but it would have to get a strong foothold before the actions of people dropped to those of earlier times, not to mention there are still too many have-nots in the world who lack the day-to-day changes that the modern world has brought.

And if that leads to a debate that you can only buy a cell phone with ID, that might be a debate worth having.
That would also require laws saying you can't sell or give your phone away. Then you'd just get criminals offering kids enough money to buy the latest phone in exchange for the old one.
So with things like Sim cards and Oyster cards, why aren't people having swap parties? Everyone purchases new cards, register with details, then shuffle and redistribute. They still get your details, but the details aren't bound to a meaningful tracking device.

So very much like The West Wing, then. Any chance they'll revive it, you reckon?
In animated form surely

the only reasonably funny joke i've heard recently is:
...So not the Palin mouth/vagina one then?

17/ How much did a one kilo block of Anchor cheese cost at Pak 'n' Save Moorhouse Ave last Tuesday?
This is, of course, a trick question. They dropped their blocks to 900g and hoped nobody would notice.

I show people this with great enthusiasm
Mostly I get confused looks and a few patronising smiles. It's a special kind of cool, Leo might get it.
Mind Lego.
