I was meaning literately, but whatever works.
Drop-goals from half-way make the game difficult to win. The Chiefs can't rush Steyn expecting him to drop-goal every time because it opens up the defensive line. But it seems that, on half the pitch at least, you can't afford not to rush him or you'll give up three points.
I think they need to assign a single person to mark him the whole time and to rush him almost every time (at least in the second half when he's more likely to go for a dropgoal).

I want to know about coverage. I got me a iPhone and I've been pretty shocked at the coverage compared to my previous Telecom phones. So will there be more/better/worse coverage with the new network?

Just been sent an email by Dom at the Dropkicks. He's angry at the Bulls use of the dropkick (yes, irony, I know).
The Bulls scored 12 points from dropgoals including one from halfway (or thereabouts). How the hell do you defend against that?

I disagree that Lauaki looked awesome. That try was a great run, but he also lost the ball in a contact/ruck situation a couple of times and was driven backwards in others.
But that is an awesome game for Lauaki.
And hopefully Vito makes the All Blacks this year (he was in last year wasn't he?)

The new Super deal is astoundingly bad. Does SANZAR/NZRU perform any market research or do they just ask the person at the next desk for their opinion?
I got very excited when Tew said that the changes to Super rugby (a term I hate!) were already being discussed "out there". I even thought that maybe they had been perusing the PASystem.
Turns out "out there" means a board room in Dublin.

Me, I reckon that teams should be able to protect 15 players, everything else is up for grabs.
I am against "protecting" players, but I'm all for contracting players.
With the NZRU's overarching contract system it's very hard for franchises to offer players new contracts when they become (the Super 14 equivalent of) free agents. In fact if players thought about it they wouldn't sign to franchises in the middle of the season, but wait and take bids from multiple teams at the end of the season.
