  • Hard News: The sole party of government,

I think I will just stop reading the Herald, and watching TV News, and talking to people who won't listen.
I shall move to the country and hide away from the corruption and greed.
Get back to the land and set my soul free.
    Fuck John Key.

A loss of 5039 but were the boundaries changed? I can't recall.

  • Hard News: Decision 2014: Where to watch…, in reply to Joe Wylie,

I guess that's why Brash - or the hollow tieless shirt that he turned out to be - doesn't socialise much these days.

Oh come on, be fair. He was there at the ACT thing with whatshisname and that bloke. Great socialiser. The kind of guy my Mother would have ignored. She would have described him as the sort of chap that would have "Chewed bread for our ducks"...She would have. Funny woman my Mum.

  • Hard News: Decision 2014: Where to watch…, in reply to Craig Ranapia,

I'm sure the "blame the media" meme is going to be very tempting for large sections of the left, just as it was for too many bloody Tories after we got our arses slapped with a "RETURN TO SENDER" sticker in 2002 and deservedly so.

The difference is that your lot did deserve it, as they do now. The difference is that the left don't do the dirt like the professionals, they don't do sneaky. They fucked up one thing this election that wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference anyway. They failed to play sneaky enough, it would have been easy to engineer a win for Hone, they could have done enough to get Internet Mana to 5% but they played it the old fashioned way, a fight to the death. They could have made up with the Greens, well, if it weren't for BRussell Norman making whoopie with Bill English, how fucked up was that? But anyway, the Greens and Labour were so pilloried as to make any kind of rational decision to vote for them the province of hard line supporters, not the gullible.
And don't bother looking that last word up, its not in the New Zealand Dictionary.

Did anyone else notice Don brash dressed in drag at the Conservative party function?

No.That was ACT Headquarters and it was just a shirt without a tie, very Brotherly of him though but.
This lot will be gone by lunchtime, I may have to skip lunch for a few months but it will be worth it when the inquirers finish their task and hold the man's feet to the last glowing embers of justice.

And round in circles we go...
    Hooray for Holyrood
    That screwy, ballyhooey Holyrood
Where any office boy or young mechanic
Can be a panic, with just a goodlooking pan
Where any barmaid can be a star maid
If she dances with or without a fan
    Hooray for Holyrood

  • Hard News: Time to Vote,

Sheep still dominate in NZ, despite our desperate focus on Dairy.
And the winner on the day was corruption and denigration and the scum rose to the top of the swamp.
