The 5% threshold argument is compelling, but politicians going to be politicians and the order of complexity (and borrowing) rises, never diminishes, until finally the order always switches over to it's antithesis, enantiodromia. Perhaps this is the reality that we all fantasise to escape from.

Earlier yesterday, Mr Key said his police complaint was based on principle.
"What happens when it moves to other high profile New Zealanders having a conversation with their wives about personal issues?
"What happens if a couple of high profile New Zealanders have a conversation about their son or their daughter being suicidal - a Sunday paper reports that and that child takes their own life. We're at the start of a slippery slope here and I for one am going to stand up and ask the police to investigate it."

Yes not NOTW, just mediocre media due to the mortgage conundrum maybe. I read that the freelancer had to work on spec, and I feel the palpable scent of salary fear round broadcast media. Then there's the TV3 conundrum, ay Mr Joyce.

I am surprised the media, one outlet did, hasn't remembered that this tea chat thing is an MMP code word for vote this way not that I'm telling you to.
