No, Parliament passes acts that conflict with the Bill of Rights all the time - see the advice on the Misuse of Drugs (BZP) Act
The point is that he is required by law to tell parliament it conflicts if it does (I suppose - again - in legal fact rather than opinion). See the advice on the BZP act.

EFA-wise, I hear John Boscawen's case against the attorney general goes to court May 15.
He seems to have a case - that the crown law advice was wrong and Cullen should have told Parliament the Bill conflicts with the bill of rights - hence presumably that the act should be thrown out.

I was rather struck by a description of the change in climate in Terry Jones' Medieval Lives. Years of flooding and crop failures. As bad for England, my impression was, as anything else that happened.
I assume that's as much due to the fact it was changing as to what the 'climate' was at any point on the curve.

I heard the Frog and Peach sketch for the first time on the radio maybe last year. Part of one of the comedy slots and it blew whatever the other two things were out of the water.
