I am not playing until the rugby analogies stop.
Why do all the children in those advertisements (Ansell's as well as the Greens') look so odd? The obvious answer - that they probably go to Steiner schools - is not enough to explain their curious faces.

I have quite a lot of #2, particularly in times of stress, but mostly #1.

There's an interesting woman out in the world who can recall everything that ever happened to her. I read about her once. Some of the researchers studying her made the comment that what she recalled was not information about the world but stuff that had happened to her. So she could recall detail of an event only to the extent that it affected or involved her. A kind of self absorbtion
In what respect is she different from any old woman?

I actively choose not to engage in most political discussion.
In this discussion, I actively choose not to talk about banks. It is all we hear these days.

Me too: dreadful problem with both names and faces, which tends to reinforce my natural introversion - I often avoid conversations because I cannot quite remember who I am talking to.
Given how many fellow-sufferers are here, perhaps this condition is a trait of the sort of people who belong to communities like PAS. Perhaps we should name it Brown's Syndrome.

Are we all familiar with the number of people currently in prison for murders committed after they served time for an earlier murder?
I believe it's three.
According to the Herald, murderers imprisoned under the proposed legislation will need a new prison, costing $314 million.
Are the tories expecting a massive rise in the number of second-time-around murderers, or will this prison be a holiday camp for the three prisoners?

The cost of one or two espressos per day at cafe prices easily pays for a nice machine + grinder over a couple of years...
That sort of thinking leads, almost inevitably, to the home Cocktail Bar.
And remember that we folks who go out for our coffee never have to deal with the grinds, clean the machinery or talk about burrs, whatever they may be.

I thought ACT was supposed to be the Liberal party. I thought they believed that people should spend their money however they wished. But then, this is a Get Carter issue, so normal market rules do not apply.
