What Sacha and Gareth said.

I wonder what is in the envelope Winston is holding in the photograph. Is he contemplating spending his party's funds on a horse?

Late main meals are a luxury of the moneyed classes!
Or at least of the shabby genteel. Eating before 7pm seems peculiar to me. What does one do for the rest of the evening?

I recently discovered Bournvita and now I am a morning person.
What do people do all morning?

Sorry, AN introductory course...

It has the smack of experiment to me, as if Harvey has identified a real problem -- the internet never forgets, even if you're not convicted -- and decided to try a "solution".
Methinks the Judge is making law all by himself. A suppression order is one thing, since it protects the name of the accused in all media, but an Iternet ban is another. It gives privilege to the print media, which can then charge the customer to release the information - I notice the Herald article says buy tomorrow' s Herald to find out the names. Correspondingly, the ban discriminates against free, unmediated conversations on Internet.
And of course the ban is quite unworkable.
