"Dismissing them as 'middleclass' is a s silly as dismissing others as 'Rent-A-Demo'"
I/O that struck me. My thoughts were it reflected the presenters (are there Journos out there anymore) POV.
I did notice the footwear of that guy from sensible sentencing and it certainly wasn't matching let alone designer stuff.
It can't be nice but this guy was a threat - a nutbar but not a threat.
"A 39-year-old beneficiary is behind bars accused of threatening to kill Prime Minister Helen Clark." -
But further on in the story we see this guy has a history of this sort of thing from no less than the psycs report. A cry for help maybe?

And there shud be some falling on swords - in large numbers

I'm not sure all this leaking is gonna help the accused but Socialist Worker has stated it is 4 firearms picked up.
Trashing ACT while they have been staunch supporters is off the mark but I didn't expect Shakespear."Contrary to panicky rumour, the police found no AK-47s, no molotov cocktails and no napalm bombs at Ruatoki. All they found were four rifles, a few rounds of ammunition and a lot of tough talk. Your average National or ACT member living in a rural area probably has more than that in their shed."

I'm too cheap to buy a good car stero and so can listen to Radio NZ, the Cops, or The Edge.
Listening to The Edge there was this Florist ad that used the term "I Treat 'er Mean & Keep 'er Keen" but make up with flowers and it's alright.
Didn't pick which out fit it was for if it was a generic florists ad or if it was a bad joke.
Anyone heard this?

A story was told to me and retold many times of the switch over to a computor booking system rather than the manual booking system at Air NZ. Photos looking like the '80s stock trading room - but in 50's garb hung on the walls.
Someone pulled the plug and lost the years advanced bookings. Travel wasn't cheap then for the next year no-one knew if anyone was turning up for the flight or if twice the number would.
That guy didn't have a long career after that. -
For fundies to have a stay at home dad and highly educated bread winning mum - I'll cut those guys a bit of slack.
Bob is of course using them for his own self promotion & I've got a bit of concern where it will end up.
Family First has electoral appeal - Sensible sentencing is lynch mob - what's that other vehicle for self promotion ...For the Sake of our Children.
Hopefully ego will stop them joining forces or is it that the have the same supporters who change t-shirts for the day. -
Michael Jones does do good, I haven't seen evidence of it with Bob Mc yet.
This is progressive on the Board of Reference:
Dr Mary DALY and Chris MARTIN
Mary is a GP practicing in South Auckland. Chris is a stay-home dad with a background in boatbuilding and tutoring in Marine Technology at Unitec NZ. They are both heavily involved in pre-marriage education. They have 4 children. -
