I think we should see the drafts of the report. I think we should be making Freedom of Information requests.

Actually, I think the thing that blew my mind was Patti Smith's 'Because the Night' on Casey Kasem's American Top 40, to which I would listen every weekend. It was a serious what the fuck was that? moment.
Meanwhile, in England, a callow youth called Paul Litterick turned on the weekly Rock show on BBC2 and saw The Patti Smith Group for the first time.
Soon his Emmerson, Lake and Palmer records would be history.

No, you mistake me. I am myself a humble toiler in the groves of academe. By "them all," I meant the pop star, the manager slash husband and the Clydesdale.
-
Who are these ridiculous people? Pop star Yulia and her husband slash manager Glyn MacLean should be ignored; they are ghastly.
Whilst we are at it, we should ignore Clydesdale as well. He is another obvious self-promoter. If he has done some serious research, he should try to get it published in an academic journal, not send out press releases.
Damn them all.

Policies = spending; the Porkometer shows that National has no policies.

There was something on the Listener cover about bananas a few months ago. It asked a question, I forget what, but it was something along the lines of "do bananas make you fat/ give you lupus/secretly want to kill your children?" If you took the time to read the article inside, in the Nutrition section, you would find the answer to the question to be "no."
So why bother asking it in the first place, other than to increase sales? If I had bought the magazine because of curiosity about bananas, I would have demanded my money back.
I am not sure why I mentioned this.

I'm confused. The Sunday Star Times decides its conservative readers might be offended by words like * * * * and * * * *, so rips out the offending editorial yet still publishes the feature about the woman who, when she is not having sex with strangers, works in PR.

U2 less pretentious than Jenny Holzer? I would have to see some figures to support that assertion.

I heard about the fight. It's not the sort of thing that usually happens at the Kings Arms. I think a lot of the audience were not those who regularly go to gigs. I was irritated that so many talked through Mr Saunders' set and that so many were so drunk.

And the Breakfast TV shows will be in with "could possum fat be the secret recipe for Prime Minister Helen Clark's success? We find out, after the break..."
