Interesting to see that the Herald had 'comments' for the 2nd debate open but shut them this morning and have only put up 3 comments. After the overwhelming number of pro-Cunliffe comments last time clearly they feel the need to shut up the rabble at their keyboards confusing things with contrary views and opinions about shouty John, the graceless berk.

Dita de Boni trying valiantly to prick the inane 'balanced' don't-rock-the-boat ethos over at RNZ on the panel today. She's a lonely voice at the Herald and I have quite a bit of respect for her.
John Bishop blathering on and on with the same tired mantra about the Hager 'stolen' information…christ he's boring! -
Deb Hill Cone frantically justifying her friendship with Odgers in today's Horald. Apparently Odgers is a bloody decent sort, handing out stuffed bears and sage advice. Little miss understood.

Hard News: Why we thought what we thought, in reply to
The Herald's comments system is close to collapse. They are getting such negative responses to their various attempts at denial of complicity that they can not be moderated/censored quickly enough. Yesterday's editorial ceased taking comments at 11.11am. Armstrong's seems to be stuck at 9.30 this morning.

He's got houses to buy. Quite a few by the sounds of it:

Hard News: Dirty Politics, in reply to
Yes, and now the Heralds editor has had to write a disclaimer about how they talk to 'everyone'. Savage was clearly 'laundering' stories through Whaleoil, the stinky ones that the fragrant Herald couldn't run went to Slater and then Savage and O'Sullivan could report that the shit was being handled by a blog and the poo was stripped of any pesky legal limitations imposed by the Heralds lawyers.
The Herald is well smeared in 'night soil'. -

5 minutes and 51 seconds in should spare you Jim and clarify Susi's position...

You need to listen to Susi's spot on the show for the 'knoll' context.

Yes, I noticed you were 'missing'. Disappointing.
Jordan Williams was on last week on the afternoon of the Hager launch. Be very interesting to see if/when he next appears. Mary got a few sharp digs in when she had him on the phone the other night for Checkpoint. If his pieces for Whalearse (with Slaters name on them) are anything to go by I don't think he shares your enthusiasm for more woman guests on the show. Unless Judith C becomes available when her current gig falls through…..
