Yes it is, purchased proudly at the start of the season. It balances out my old Curtis Martin one nicely.

The only two things I like about American football are a) the big brass bands and b) the touchdown celebrations. Breakdance the hell out of that endzone, boys!
You know "excessive" td celebrations are a penalty right? So the number of fun dances has been cut dramatically

Heh, unlike 'Megan', Robert was based on a person, a current AB. During the rewrites, I worked on making it less obvious who it was.

Although the (now) Arizona Cardinals originated in Chicago and are one of the oldest surviving franchises (along with the Bears and Giants).
The Cardinals moved to St Louis, when the Bears took hold in Chicago, and (I believe) the baseball team was named after them.

What does a Grid girl do? I mean, obviously look attractive in tight clothing, but what's the grid?
The grid is the Starting Grid, (which is confusingly not always a grid because the cars can be staggered). The girls stand by the cars pre-start and hold umbrellas over the drivers and also hold signs saying who the team/country/driver is.
I'm not sure where it came from or how long it's been going on.
