An excellent post. Len Brown, Bev and several others may have sustained serious reputational damage, but the big loser is the so-called Citizens and Ratepayers bloc whose credibility is beyond recovery. Thank God Palermo didn't make it through.

If there is a new election there is no way I could vote for any candidate with any sniff of their endorsement.
