    A new generation of bands is emerging from Dunedin.

    Fishrider Records' Temporary compilation, released last year, documents the resurgence of a new pop underground in the city, famous for the jingle-jangle guitar bands that formed there in the 1980s.

    Presenter Anthonie Tonnon and videographer John Bollen meet some of the people involved in creating the new scene.

    I DID like the division of the populace I heard recently (RNZ???) The Natives and Migrants. The Natives are the Millennnials, those who were born into the digital world (<35 yrs) , Migrants who have (had to) move(d) into it. (>35 yrs). Cute……but sadly true….

    As always the key will be in creating content that connects which is as we all know remarkably difficult.

    Yes, and we're certainly not the only people trying to do that. But we're being guided by some really solid research about what people care about. And we've set ourselves the task of making sure to actually have young voices - which means they're telling us their stories.
