Stuff today turns out Donald __wants__testing.
He wants to know 'what's going on with her' - maybe having this hulking guy creeping round behind her and making faces and doing everything short of bunny ears is part of it.
He needs to do something about the lip licking too. It's horrible on tv. Other politicians take note.

Those of you wanting to know more about the candidates might be interested in this Open Democracy piece if you haven't seen it. It's not local, but it's interesting. At the same time as being a bit suspicious about why the women all placed so lowly in the first ballot, it did explain rather more about the strengths of the men as well. It probably should be between Gutierrez and Clark, and they both have advantages that are not gender-related.

This thread has turned into the Listener's Life in NZ column, but today's eye-roller in the Herald is quite funny.
Leading Kiwi real estate agent Graham Wall said New Zealand had a "golden future", with three unusual aspects which differentiate it from most other countries: a plentiful supply of fresh water, extremely safe boarders and able to produce far more food than is consumed here.

And David Seymour's response was a dig at RNZ, which apparently "surprisingly few" New Zealanders listen to.
Is it unkind to point out that quite a lot more people listen to RNZ than voted for Act?
