Good Morning Mr Fitzgerald...The sea of Canterbury shirts could well have been the Ocean of Geraldine, in Munch, in initially the 8th month of the year b4 those Caesar Cheifs got yours truly b4 August made up the # 12. Me and Brian Jones met up with Sue Ferguson and Juliet Mackie. Susan from Taupo and Juliet from Waipukurau. We arrived at their flat/unit. Victoria was our landlay. Her boyfriend beat her up. The story is longer than the song (although initially the song was Grateful Dead long) and I can't add much more than that I was the happiest fish in the world when I arrived back at her apartment to find that the evil bastard was gone and Vicky had a promotional "Victoria" poster on her wall. In retrospect I think she may have only been 5 or 6 years older than me.I loved her and answering those phones was a real experience. A real laugh, yet being professional, I'd read the Star or watch the fish in the aquarium.
Incidentally..if it is the Jackie Clarke I know....definitely not overweight.....not invisible in the sense of Amazon Women on The Moon ...however a yes to, one the finest singers here there and from everywhere....& Bryan...well....Him and my drummer canuck mate do not underrate....as for Ryan I'm going for the Sly Family.

    Dearest All,
Tracey was a magical woman @ G.H.S. Great Swimmer. Her parents owned a magical mystery garden forest and home called Sundrum. Chris Sheehan wrote all the weirdly bizarre 1950's doo-wop chords. I wrote the repetitive verse. In fact apart from some Trance/Hippity Hoppity Mix stuff..def the mos' rep verse that i writ (sic). Where be thee Tracey ? Search @ your own lost Teardrop Reward..xoxooj

To Dearest Russell and all replies,
I am still a dolphin in the sea of loving dolphins. I concur with all your comments and as this is my first dive into these mighty blogographic oceans, let me add happy and chortled. I would like to laud the John Hanlon writer (and John himself). From 1975, my sisters and I would go to the Geraldine Cinema (the only independent cinema in the South Island) (ha!). No matter what film or girlfriend was on mid-week / or weekend we would be there with popcorn & jaffa, a sense of excitement and waiting to be able to get up to the snow and try out our Canadian Snowshoes. Hang Gliding and Higher Trails !....LOts of Love y'all....Simon & The Mee Mees & the....xoxo
