Thank you Michelle, for sharing your vulnerability in such a powerful and articulate way. LIke you I live alone. I am in the older vulnerable age group. When there was talk of the older population having to stay in our homes for another six months while the rest of the country opened up again I knew that I just could not do it. I had a huge panic attack at the thought of looking at the same four walls in my small space. I knew that I would rather risk getting the virus than staying home and my mental, physical and spiritual bodies deteriorating. Fortunately that policy changed. I can drive to the sea and see the horizon, breathe in salty sea air. Breathe.
