This is merely a gentle reminder of the turmoil in Tibet and the impending May summit attempt of Mount Everest with the Olympic Flame. Radio Free Asia has some good first-hand, direct information from Tibet.

Many New Zealanders participate in guided climbing expeditions on both the North (China) and South (Nepal) faces of Mount Everest, so it's likely that any noteworthy stories at the time will mention New Zealand.
