So those Countdown fuel discount vouchers must really attract you with your bike.
Maybe while Countdown is considering a good bike rack, they can think of promotions for the not so car centric?

So you took a gamble that paying squillions for geoblocked, outdated content was worth it?
Big Media Companies to Lightbox: "You can buy our old content, but we will keep the recent stuff for now."
What a great deal. Let's protect that....not.
For what it's worth, I'm signed up to Lightbox. I can't say that I'm overwhelmed. First thing I did was to see if I can catch up on Modern Family, which I've missed lately. You are not one, but two seasons behind!
It looks like Big Media said to you guys "bend over"...

"Labor was slightly ahead on the (useful, but constitutionally-meaningless) two-party preferred vote"
Why is that constitutionally meaningless?

I'm interested in coverage too. Our office is in a shadow, yet I heard 850MHz does a better job of penetrating trees and buildings. Could this mean I rejoin the mobile telecommunications world once more???

So half of some Antarctic ice shelf or Greenland melts and the sea rises 7 metres.
The stadium will be a perfect locale for jet-boat sprints.
Let me see you do that at Eden Park.

Yes, you can still do the claim back of GST at the airport if you are carrying the goods in hand luggage.
I know a few people who have done this in 2006 and more or less paid their air fare to Aus.
Check with the airlines that you can still carry laptops on their flights - some of them can't decide whether to allow Sony batteries on board (like a battery burning up in the hold is a lot safer than a battery burning up on fold down table)

Some of our clients are iHug customers and they have had problems e-mailing us since 27 September. It was fine a week earlier.
Symptoms are the same - they can receive e-mail from us, but can't send to us. Analysis of our ISP's logs show that the e-mail does not arrive at our ISP's mail server from Ihug's SMTP server. The weird thing is that if the client copies the e-mail to other servers (e.g. gmail), these copies get through. That seems to indicate some sort of DNS error, not a spam problem.
IHug of course don't acknowledge the issue. These clients are literate enough to understand how stuff works and together we are pretty confident it is something beyond the ihUg spam issue.
One client solved the issue by discontinuing his ihuG account and we get now mail reliably from them at their new ISP.
