Not wishing to up set anyone's senseabilities,but I would remind you that our so called justice system let two convicted rapist's hide behind an assistant commissioner's uniform,and that the same ex assistant commissioner of police chose to resign rather than face the 15 internal charges of sexual misconduct,after telling us all on the steps of the court,(just like tony veitch)that he would fight every charge tooth and nail.No,he was not convicted of anything,but then nether was O.J convicted of anything.The point of my writing was the' Public Image' of these men,and a ex assistant commissioner of police's 'public image' is in the toilet where it belongs,unless you are one who thinks it is cool for three serving police officers to pick up your 17year old daughter and take her of a ride.I was talking about the law for the likes of tony veitch and the ex assistant commissioner of police and the law that the rest of us face.In ending I will quote Mr clint rickards,"I had consensual sex with the victim".The same astounding arrogance,the same court technique of attacking the victim,and the same bullshit result.No real justice for these women,no real justice for anyone.

The judge sentenced Veitch on the fact that this incident was a one off event,seeing as the other assault charges were dropprd in the plea deal.The judge could not take the other charges into account,but did the judge not ask themselves,how did she get onto the floor so as he could kick her in the back in the first place?.And what do you think the sentence would have been,had it been her who had broke his back? Do you think she would have been able to stand on the court steps and give him shit to the media.This prick was already dictating how he was going to do his 300 hours before he had even reported to probation.This mans arrogance truly knows no bounds.He didn't get it then,he hasn't got it now,and unless he has a real good look at himself and his actions,he will never get it,and all those who supported him and wrote testimonial's,need to have a good look at themselfes as well.(I wonder how many more of the 20 testimonial's are suspect? the all black coach who said he was a good bloke because he didn't bag anyone for the all blacks lose in the world cup in 2007,needs to hang his head in shame)It is men like him and the likes of clint rickards that we have the worst violence against women and children in the world.tony veitch should be sharing a cell with clint rickards right now.Until these men who think women are Therese to do with as they wish are held to account,then the song will remain the same and the band will play on.How many more of their likes,are out there in positions of POWER and CONTROL over women and children.

An observation I'd like to make on this tony veitch story.I find it strange that no one has compared his case to the "Clint Rickards" case."Arrogance that knows no bounds",springs to mind.The same attack the victim strategy,The same PR strategies,the some old do anything,say anything,pay any amount to get off and get away with it, when any person with half a brain can see these arrogant pricks for what they are.Another case starts today that may well fall into the same category,ie,Taito Phillip Field.All three crimes are different, but all three cases stink of the same arrogance and hypocrisy.District courts around the country this morning will be full of average Joe blogs who will be pleading guilty at the first chance to all the stupid dumb and violent things they did over the weekend.They don't have the money,family,friends,back up,or the forged testimonial's of prominent New Zealanders.They will be pleading guilty today because it is the quickest,easiest,cheapest,and maybe just because its the right thing to do,and if by chance they happen to drive off in a depressed state with a pocket full off pills,they wont have the nations police force out looking for them,tacking cell phone calls with helicopter's.They will be taking it on the chin like the real guilty men they are, because they feel stupid,guilty and ashamed.If Tony Veitch had done the same thing from day one,he would be working on TV today and maybe be the mouth peace for male anti-violence against women,and would have my sympathy and respect.But no,he had to spend more money than most of us will see in a life time,attack the victim in the media with his PR stormtroopers and bring all this bullshit down on everyone.Just like the "Clint Rickards" case, it has left a bad taste in everyone's mouth,and the reason is,because there is "One law for selebritys,all-blacks,and policemen,the other law for the rest of us".Equal justice for all ? Yeah,Right
