Sabbath were indeed awesome and they chose a great selection of their lesser known songs. Beforehand I'd said that I'd be ecstatic if they included Into the Void and Electric Funeral, and Linton can confirm that I was indeed jumping up and down with excitement when they did! And the audience was lovely - as happy as the band was to be there! Totally agree with your son's assessment :-)

Got my Sabbath tickets seconds after pre-sale opened. I'm not much of a concert goer, but this is a must (and probably last-chance-to) see.

Did no one point out to Brian May that no one wanted to hear him noodling on the guitar for ages? Why didn't they play 'We Are the Champions'?
Hee - to see Brian May noodling was the only reason I bothered to watch :-D. But yes, peculiar that they didn't play We Are the Champions.
