My food pictures are never very good (mainly, I think, because I don't take the time to set up the shot), but here is some Flying Spaghetti Monster bread I made for a potluck the other weekend.

This government, in its previous term, encourage Dunedin's major debt albatross around its neck (the stadium) by giving 15 million (then about 8% of the claimed cost) for the project to happen. I even seem to remember rhetoric of the nature of "it wasn't going to happen without central government support".
I guess, since they encouraged it, this is not what they have in mind as poor debt decisions. {/stillbitter} -
It is probably worth adding a addendum that This American Life have retracted their January report, and are going to have an upcoming episode where the host “talks with Mike Daisey [of the one-man show The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs] about why he misled This American Life during the fact-checking process,” and “separating fact from fiction, when it comes to Apple’s manufacturing practices in China.”
Mike Daisey responded "What I do is not journalism. The tools of the theater are not the same as the tools of journalism. Professional sports unions are apolitical and respected for it
Speaking as a Dunedin resident, and looking at the cost benefit to the city of our rugby purpose built stadium, they are most definitely political. It is just they do not specifically endorse a particular political party.

Where did you get the bolt?
Hardware shop. Most consumer cameras take a 1/4 of an inch bolt (some larger professional camera are 1/3 of an inch, these cameras often come with adaptors).
You are not like to find a bold short enough though. My solution was to add a couple of nuts until the bolt was the right length. -

I have gotten away with exposures of a few seconds by putting the camera-strap round my neck, holding the camera out with both hands so the strap is pulled taut, elbows braced against my sides
Because I don't often carry around the tripods I have been given over the years (I'm now down to "the good one" and "the light one" and have stopped saying "If you don't want it any more...") instead I carry a string bipod in my camera bag. A central bolt that fits the attach point on the camera, then two lengths of string the right height for me to stand on the washers attached to the ends making the string taut to steady the camera. The camera strap pulled taut against the neck forms the third axis of the tripod.

I’ve tried that, I think I shake more when I am not breathing!
The advice I've seen is take the picture while exhaling, on the theory your body is in a more relaxed state than tensed up with not breathing.
