Very impressive indeed - all sorts of elements in there, I like it a LOT. River vs Sea especially, even before the "Bring out your dead" line was already my favourite. Was it meant to be longer, because it seems to cut off rather suddenly at the end

Imagine the puff pastry with mushroom, spinach sauteed in garlic and marinated feta with a hint of sundried tomatoes pie, all washed down with a good kiwi Epic Pale Ale.
No offence intended, but that would be just brilliant with a bit of dead animal in it as well.

Indeed - a real bloke would sort of glance out the corner of his eye, go "Nice", and carry on drinking. Getting that excited about Heineken is a little disturbing - be all right if it was a beer worth drinking.

ENSOC are being more than a little disingenuous in this too - reflagging the event this year as a "Charity" event (count the number of times the ENSOC president hasn't mentioned this fact), then saying it wasn't an ENSOC issue because most of the students arrested were from Dunedin.

Conversely, if there ARE pictures (air show crashes, no matter how minor, or how far away) then it IS news. Which in some ways is even more depressing.
And if my (increasingly holey, increasingly faulty) memory serves me rightly, it was the Gasgoine that hosted before Laga'ia, not one of the Leishmans.

Glenmorangie for smoooooooooooth, Laphroaig for when I want to KNOW I'm drinking a whisky.
Which reminds me, I still have a bottle of Glenmorangie in the cupboard at home - party at my house tonight!
