  • Speaker: It's the recrimination I don't…,

__Christ, you do need to be Einstein after all to understand this game.__

Yes, it's a lovely take on relativity isn't it?

I'm sure that the fateful pass doesn't fall under that principle though.

If that was the principle. But it's not.

Rule 12 A throw forward occurs when a player throws or passes the ball forward. 'Forward' means towards the opposing team's dead ball line.

It made a cool video 'though :-)

if you remove the pacific islands because they were ruled by the brits

You don't even need to do that with all of the Pacific.

Fought against Samoa in WWI. Us in the Land Wars (kinda). Etc.

There's probably more teams in the show they've warred with than not..

I was about to say the same thing.

    Do the Land Wars count?

  • Speaker: Quantum Competition,

I know who I'll be supporting from here on in.

    Argentina!

  • Speaker: Quantum Competition,

The question isn't why did we lose, it's why didn't we win?

Simple - we didn't even score the points value of the margin people were predicting!

At least no-one venting on the Herald thus far has blamed Graham Henry 'though - that man deserves a knighthood.

  • Hard News: A fairly weird encounter,

if Key had said the war was over in May 2003, when Goff used the phrase "post-war", it would have been unremarkable.

To be fair to Craig, Russell - he also quoted from Helen Clark last week as well:

Iraq did not meet our criteria for intervention in 2003 and we did not participate in the war there. We did, for one year, send New Zealand Defence Force engineers to do civilian reconstruction work, believing that was consistent with the United Nations mandate established in the course of 2003.

  • TV3's Sunrise and Newsday,

And Throng has the ratings data. They'll be disappointed - Throng points out that City Impact Church that screens before it rated almost as well - a 13.1 share compared to the 13.2 of Sunrise.

Speaking of ratings, 'though, I just got a TVNZ "Planit" email - with this link to the top 10 rating shows of the week. 3 News is on it, One News is not. Is there some weird "we're not going to put our news and current affairs shows on the list"-thing going on, or has TV One tanked?

  • Hard News: Ten Times Warmer,

Okay ... so does anyone else keep reading the heading of this as Ten Times Warner?
