    re slut

only and always by women in the offensive sense

Well that's because for guys, slut is only derogatory in the sense of

"why won't she be slutty with me?"

In all other cases it's a good thing :).

  • Field Theory: Cricketucation,

Feel free to call whatever you like.

Please back it up though with some stats better than n=1.

I've seen reports from Britain showing a correlation between free-to-air coverage and participation but since I can't find it then I can't call on your statement either :). Of course even with that it is only a correlation.

Personally I think it's a real effect. Kids play sports that they see their sporting heroes play. No exclusively of course.

I won the previously non-existent 'sluttiest costume' prize.

aw they made a prize specially for you, isn't that sweet.

But now I'm wondering what did the trophy look like?

The second most romantic thing was a trio of men waking me on Valentine's morning by singing 'Do You Want to Know a Secret' outside my bedroom window. This was so touching I slept with two of them.

Now why did I read that as "trio of naked men..."?

And I just don't get the discussion about Mal, Inara or Kaylee. My friends argue the point constantly and I guess I just like the characters too much to er "like" them.

hugh grant is sleazy, i'm afraid.

    I think that's the point

Emma's right, every slight you make on the gentleman's sport results in yet another new virus for your body to try and learn :P

And folks since it's too damn hot & humid to sleep anyway, you may as well stay up and support the black caps as they try and humiliate the Aussies even more. Although even if the Aussies win the series that fact that they've lost two to [sharp intake of breath] the kiwis is enough satisfaction for me.

So nice to see McCallum batting down the order, he is such a good batsman when the bowlers are a bit tired and the ball is a bit softer.

Now where talking. I have a humble proposition, here

With the right people wielding the whips we could probably get people to pay for the privilege.

On a slightly less loony note

I've always wondered just how much energy is wasted in Gyms.

Why don't we sponsor some NZ enterprise to develop a line of exercise machines that capture all that energy and feed it back into the national grid.

You could go one step further and require all those receiving the unemployment benefit to spend 30 minutes a day generating power.

Two benefits in one, improve the health of the unemployed and produced valuable energy.

And then we could franchise it worldwide.

How about resurrecting the idea of the tunnel from devonport to the bottom of Queen street. Travelator and bike path in perspex tubes just like at Kelly Tarlton's.

It would cost lot's of money and be way cool. Of course you'd have to make the Waitamata a marine reserve to get any fish to look at :).
