Don't think so. The map published with link is clear enough, in that it shows the planned expressway rejoining the current SH1 at the northern edge of Taupiri. Taupiri mountain is further north with a Waikato tributary river between it and Taupiri.

Christopher Dempsey on the Reentry V thread the other day came up with an impressive word, a new one to me -
I remember being very depressed for a couple of years after I got back - baffingling so.
He obviously really meant it, cos he's careful and took the trouble to correct "Mangare" later in the day. I've puzzled over the meaning, and have come to realise it comes from the old French baffing for slapping someone's face that needs it, and a "baffingling" would be just a small warning sort of slap.
Given that RB has needed the baffing sanction around here already, perhaps there's a place for a baffingling too.

But OTOH I unmistakably heard him say he was providing another 36 million dollars to improve numeracy and literary standards.
Well, maybe the accent did confuse me and he really said littering standards.

I am coming to appreciate why the lack of traction in my point, now some days ago, that the main concern seems to be about the word marriage (rather than the substance, because civil unions provide the substance of what's needed or 95% at least) and this is puzzling when "marriage" has so many negative connotations for many people too.
It's so obvious that Huckabee defending the one-man-one-woman meaning of marriage was insincere and unreasonable when there is no alternative for same-sex couples, or not in the US in general (huge mess with 50 states all different). And those arguments are so familiar to many LGBT who've lived this for years, anyone using it must be similar (?)
But still, this is NZ and the law and the opportunities it provides is different (civil unions a HUGE step), getting pretty close to being fair, the best achievable through majority vote, so far. Evolution of the language is happening, and needs encouragement.

I disagreed with much of what Tess was writing, but don't think she was expressing bigotry and hatred in the slightest degree. Clearly separate matter from the point that the Catholic Church is responsible for much bigotry and hatred, in both directions. So she very skilful, and worth the discussion I reckon give the importance of the many subjects.
