  • Naly D,

    How about The Gonk?

Yes! I've always thought that would be a great cricket song.

I'd come out to something like 'T Plays it Cool', Zoot Suit Riot or Vuvuvu

If it was in England it'd definately have to be 'Skinhead' though.

Talking about TD celebrations, TO is just the absolute king. He's the Doc J of the NFL. That trick he pulled with the vivd was insane, but the Cowboys star was just epic.

Cricket celebrations-wise, I'd like to see a Smeltz-esque stripper pole using the bat for the sheer awkwardness. A golf swing and hand-over-eye pose follwing a 6 wouldn't go amiss either

  • Kyle Matthews,

Lets be honest, the best celebrations are the ones before the feat. A couple of baseball players have pointed the pitcher to where they're going to hit the ball in the stands, and got it as well.

Ideal when facing Australia as their team continues its decline. "Going right over your head mate." *whack* "See, now who's a lump of shit."

  • noizyboy,

That Cantona one is great. The steely mono-browed look towards the crowd, as if asking "did you see that?"

The famous "sharpie play" is my all-time favourite celebration. Not only did he have the audacity to sign the ball and give it to a friend in the crowd, he had the goddamn pen in his sock the whole time!

Though that Cantona one is a very close second.

  • Jake Pollock,

Matthew Sinclair having a word to the Australian hecklers after catching Matthew Hayden will always have a special place in my heart.

  • LegBreak,

Fleming mimicking excessive Graeme Smith celebrations after catching Graeme Smith out in an ODI is hard to beat. Right down to sticking his chin out.

    How I miss him….

  • Stuart Coats,

Who was the player that put the cellphone in the goalpost so he could phone home after he scored the touchdown? That was genius. And Chad Johnson "proposing" to one of the cheerleaders after scoring was a nice one too.

If I had more time I would find the clip of Pat Cash climbing into the crwod at Wimbledon. Or Boris Becker at 17, limbs splayed akimbo with sheer joy. Although that is getting a bit Mills and Boon-y.

I've been doing some serious youtubage for Bumble clips - tomorrow's Links on Friday on my site will be a special tribute.

Okay, so I should know, but what is your site so I can alleviate my working day tomorrow?

Awww, it cut off before I could imagine Stephen Fleming saying 'my texture is the best fur, chinchilla'. :)

  • Hadyn Green,

Who was the player that put the cellphone in the goalpost so he could phone home after he scored the touchdown?

That was Joe Horn and coolest thing was that he didn't do it on his first touchdown but on his second (which was in the same endzone)

Probably correct but this one by Nathan ‘Nijinsky’ Astle against the Windies in 2006, just when people were wondering if he still had it was pretty good.

Heck, I dunno. That's the great thing about the net, you can revel in people's bizarre obsessions without having to actually be around them.

I do what I can. This can be demonstrated by selecting 'pages from New Zealand' and googling 'wincest'. You can thank me later.

My 3-year old has been watching a lot of Wiggles recently, and seeing Fleming as his "the Wiggle in the yellow skivvy" alter-ego has kind of compromised his sex appeal:
