Ali Wiolliams was on the telly the other week and he said the "X" was to open the shoulders slightly to help with movement, or something like that.

Having worn it and (for want of a better word) flexed in it, the X does actually pull the shoulders. The side panel also pulls your arms and muscles when passing etc. It's very well engineered

Yeah, what is with the sizing? I don't think it's the player numbers because the replicas in stores have the same numbers for sizing.

So I found out about jersey sizing: for regular team orders for jerseys the numbers 1 through 5 are generally XXXL or XXXXL, Sizes for number 9,10, tend to just be a size L.
This can apparently be very frustrating for locks in the under 85 kg grade, who swim in XXXL shirts.
