Mark, on PA System, links with text are formatted like this (using curved brackets for demonstration):
((http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10542617|Click here for awesome article!!!))
Which looks like this:
And if you just want to paste the URL on its own, PAS will automatically turn it into a clickable link:

(st00pid interwebs with their inconsistency!)

Omar bin Laden needs to get himself an agent. He's a shoo-in for a supporting role in Matrix: Resuscitated.

I'ld quite like to think Omar bin Laden could find refuge from the sins of the father here.

I'm pretty sure there are lots of people who would not like to be judged for the sins of their fathers -- or anyone else they have the misfortune to be related to thanks to the genetic crap shoot.

I think a mate of mine has worked in support of the CIA (I don't ask and he doesn't tell). He would agree with my sentiment though, given his paternal line.
Can we get John Banks on it?

My small point being that what Bin Laden seems to get the blame for does not equate with the facts, and the CIA was his only confirmed employment nor would it seem the US thought his family was a problem either but if the family members want to immigrate that should be due process anywhere in the world, shouldn't it ?I can only assess that he and his wife 'by choosing NZ has very good taste. Also why not live in Saudi Arabia? One would hope that would not be a problem for them .

Sorry Sofie, I was in agreement with you. I just added the first thought that popped into my head (stream of consciousness - my bad) about a mate & the CIA.

And I thought it was me being the cryptic one :) No apology needed Shep and don't stop that stream of consciousness, it's good for your soul.

Oh and John Banks, i'll swap him for Bin Laden junior any day :)

Oh, goody. Can we dissolve the Catholic Church and confiscate its properties then? I call Raphael's rooms at the Vatican.

Greedy, you just might have to share :)
-
It might be hard to reconcile this with the Mayor of your fine city, but John Banks has overcome some bad odds and levelled the playing field for kids such as him.
He tried to get in the Cops and was excluded because of his parents, later as Minister for the Police he changed this so that Cops were judged on their own merits not theirs Dads.
As much of an idiot as he is, I'll give him respect for that. -

Idiots should be treated equally I say :)
Exclusion still exists though Shep, there is just al ittle matter called Auckland that he now sees fit to rearrange according to his needs and desires all in the name of inflation/ Eden park upgrade. -
Adding to Russell's sporting congratulations, our man Lyndon has just come up with one of his best posts yet (and that's no peanuts).
